The Web Applications Developer is responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining web-based applications, as well as performing maintenance and updates on assigned Linux based servers.This is not an inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned
Provide updates, status and completion information to Director of IT, management and/or users via e-mail, voice mail or in-person communication.
Ability to write and implement module scripts (including PowerShell, Bash and Batch) in Linux and Windows
Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Update job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to web based applications.
Follow all HIPAA guidelines in accordance with the Fotheringill & Wade, LLC Policy, Procedure, and Security Manual.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
This position has no certification, licensure or registration requirements.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
