Overview:

Blackhawk Digital Marketing is looking for a Web Builder (Junior Web Developer) to join our team. In this role at Blackhawk, you’ll be part of the growing Web & Tech team and enable us to build and maintain more websites as well as expand the scope of our web projects.

About You:

You will succeed in this role if you are comfortable wearing multiple hats, can successfully meet deadlines, and thrive in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Translate static design files into responsive web pages using WordPress and the Elementor page builder
Uphold best web development practices ensuring all SEO and accessibility standards are met
Assist in managing multiple client websites using WP Admin tools
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, content, and SEO teams
Attend meetings with clients and confidently answer questions about web elements, processes, and best practices
Manage individual and project deadlines to ensure on-time website launches
Respond to and fulfill helpdesk tickets requesting website updates

Qualifications:

Experience working in front-end web development OR creating WordPress sites using Elementor (or similar page builder)
Strong understanding of responsive design
Working knowledge of web design best practices, UX principles, and technical SEO
An entrepreneurial and “hands-on” mindset
Highly detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized — able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with HTML and CSS is preferred
