As a member of the Chisholm Corner team, the Chisholm Corner Waiter/Waitress is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our customers and ensure they have a great experience. This position is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service, being attentive to all customers’ needs and preferences, making recommendations, and serving drinks and food accurately and efficiently according to Chisholm Corner standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Ensure that each Customers receives outstanding Customer Service by creating a restaurant environment that is fast, friendly, clean, and safe.
Assist Customers with ordering by answering menu questions or making recommendations regarding food sensitivities and food substitutions upon request.
Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate order details to the kitchen staff as needed.
Inform guests about Chisholm Corner loyalty program, or any other specials and promotions.
Stay up to date on menu changes and daily specials.
Clean tables after guest have finished and clear away dirty plates, glassware, and flatware.
Maintain a neat and clean dining area.
Roll silverware, set up food stations, and prep for the next shift.
Deliver checks and process bill payments.
Follows Attendance, Punctuality, & Scheduling Policy and properly clocks in and out.
To provide the highest level of customer service, it is Chisholm Corner’s expectation that all mobile devices will be off or on silent during employee’s work shift.
Follows company policy in regard to restaurant emergencies and accidents.
Required Skills and Physical Abilities:
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business dictates.
Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, stooping, and bending
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 28 degrees and a freezer of 0 to 10 degrees below zero.
Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check and drug test.
Compensation:
Starting Hourly rate of $2.25 an hour with tips.
