Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Unit Manager!
About the role
As the Unit Manager you will responsible for leading, supervising and developing employees to meet individual unit performance objectives, which may include time standards, quality & production goals. Supervises an operational unit comprised of 8+ employees to ensure workflow and deadlines are met. You will work closely with other Unit Managers when needed.
Providing employees with coaching, feedback and developmental opportunities
Setting clear expectations and holding employees accountable for performance
Overseeing training and development of employees and making effective staffing decisions. Building appropriate bench strength
Accountable for managing daily workflow to meet Service Level Agreements, including making recommendations for maintaining appropriate staffing levels
Responsible for appropriate record keeping, required reports, and ensuring related administrative functions are correct and maintained according to company policies

Salary Range: $52,900 – $88,100 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
Your education, experience, and skills
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
1-3 years of work-related experience required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong leadership potential, including the ability to train, mentor and coach individuals and/or a group
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Previous industry related experience preferred
