We are looking for a new Transfer Agent to join our Residential Property Management team!Transfer Agent’s are the central communication hub between all parties involved in complex property transactions, ensuring that transfers of titles and monies are processed accurately and by deadlines, so we are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills and the willingness to pick up the phone and keep all parties informed of the process and its progress.Our Company is looking for people who are focused on maintaining a great company culture while getting the job done! We are excited to welcome new members to the staff who are excited about working as a team and having a great time while doing so.Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: Processing all documentation for purchases, leases, lease renewals, transfers of title, refinance bank questionnaires, and sub-lease requests.Ensuring that all documents are accurate and complete. Review applications and follow-up with owners to complete forms.Providing Board members with ideas and alternative methods to obtain additional information for buyers or tenants.Timely answering questions and providing information to owners, brokers, Account Executives, and Assistant Account Executives, superintendents, board members, leasing managers, and financial institution representatives and attorneys regarding past, current, and future transactions.Scheduling interviews for prospective buyers and renters.“Closing” transaction files and ensure files are forwarded to the proper departments for and/or storage.May be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed and when requested which is a great opportunity to expand your skill set!Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with equivalent experience in real estate closings or a paralegal certificate.Impeccable multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to uphold strong attention to detail and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to effectively deal with demanding people and remain professional in a stressful and fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels within the organization.Independent, self-motivated team player who is attracted to a small, collegial working environment.Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.Advanced skills and proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel.Experience with MRI property management software is a plus.4 years of experience in the customer service industry is a plus.
