We are looking for a Deputy General Manager (DGM) to manage daily operations and run the projects. DGM should be able to produce the deliverables while ensuring the highest quality standards and meeting the time and budget constraints.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the operations and back-end support for city and achieve business goals set by the organization
Supervize overall construction of interior projects assigned
Lead and manage overall operations keeping the profitability in mind
Identify work front, required labour count, and ensure the timely execution and quality of each project
Lead weekly project reviews to define critical success factors for specific clients and projects, and develop strategies and tactics to achieve them while mitigating business risks
Ensure the quality of the service deliverables through strong QA/QC review, hiring, training, and utilization of staff, leveraging efforts to maximize value for the firm.
Participate in marketing activities to help develop proposals, project scopes, and take responsibility for the projects as Principal-in-Charge.
Ensuring flawless and regular documentation for the management and clients
Create and manage the office operations budget
Improve processes and efficiencies through innovation
Execute variety of initiatives from broad sales strategies to tactical operational improvements
Develop, document, and implement workflows to enhance organizational effectiveness
Work with stakeholders across the organization (sales, human resources, marketing, product, finance, legal, and analytics) to recommend and implement changes into operations & processes, and reporting with Salesforce and other tools
Evaluation and implementation of new project management tools & technologies to improve workflows
Responsibilities by functions: Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Quality Control, Organizational Leadership, P&L Management, Risk Management, Inventory Management, and Warehousing
Ensure client satisfaction: regular communication and review with clients, trade contractors, architects and project management consultants Coordinate all phases of construction
Implement, monitor, and maintain quality standards at the project site with health & safety, and environmental planning norms
Monitor billing & payments (both external and internal)
Develop contingency plans to avoid delays
Skills and Qualifications
IIT, IIM and Tier-1 college graduates are preferred
Candidate should be smart, confident, focused, quality oriented, able to handle the pressure, and logical thinker
Understanding of P&L/Finance will increase the chances of selection
Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmarks and improve processes continuously to achieve results
Tools: MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; CA Clarity PPM
Experienced in negotiating vendor contracts
Experienced in drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
Experienced in leading projects and programs successfully, on-schedule and within budget
