Two teaching assistants required. One to work across KS1 supporting in class, with small groups and 1:1. This position is to start as soon as possible.

The second position is to work in the Early years unit to support teaching and learning across nursery and reception. This is a maternity cover. Are you a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant who can join our teaching team to provide learning and pastoral support, enabling individual children and groups to access the curriculum? We are looking for someone who;
Has a good standards in literacy and numeracy, in order to support additional needs in these areas
Has a minimum of NVQ Level 2/other relevant qualification linked to the requirements of this position – this is essential to the post advertised
Has the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, staff and outside agencies
Has recent relevant knowledge/experience of working with children with additional needs
Is able to work independently with individuals or small groups of children on given tasks
Is calm and patient and able to see the potential in all of our pupils and is aspirational for them
Is confident at using ICT, and willing to learn new skills
Has a passion to develop the whole child and promote our caring ethos and positive behaviour management
