Principal Financial Group is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Talent Acquisition Team! You’ll partner with leaders to drive talent acquisition strategies attracting top talent to Principal’s Asset Management teams.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with leaders within our Asset Management division to understand their hiring needs, source a diverse pool of candidates for openings, evaluate/interview candidates, and oversee the full life cycle process.
The ideal candidate understands the talent landscape with previous asset management experience, consultative in nature with the ability to influence leaders at all levels while listening & identifying what the needs are to help define creative solutions. Someone that thrives in building relationships is ideal!

We’re looking for something with:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
4+ years of related work experience required. Previous asset management experience is ideal.
Prior experience working for a search firm, coupled with corporate experience is preferred
Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills, along with strong decision-making and project management skills.
Demonstrated dedication to understanding business needs and achieving the company’s talent acquisition objectives.
Attention to detail and ability to operate with a sense of urgency and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Technically savvy and adaptable to change.
Previous experience with recruiting technologies such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) and video interviewing (Modern Hire) preferred.
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Minimum Salary: USD $73,100.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $172,800.00/Yr. Additional Information:
Preferred location(s) would be Charlotte, NC or Des Moines, IA as they include our home office location and one of our larger employment hubs. However, we’re willing to consider other locations based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.
