Internship : Social Media Content CreatorOur Work: NEOCOCO is a social impact apparel brand based in LA. Founded in 2017 as an effort to support refugee women, we have grown to become a team of 10 amazing women.We embrace the art of hand embroidery to create our unique designs, a common practice passed down through generations. We promote equality and embrace gender equity by creating a safe and supportive working environment, paying our team an equitable wage, and providing each member of the NEOCOCO team with access to essential services.Who we are looking for: Are you passionate about promoting equitable work and sustainable fashion? Are you interested in learning about operating a small, and growing, mission driven business?Do you have an understanding of the fashion industry and social media content creation?We are looking for a passionate and creative person like you to join our team!We seek someone who can support our social media and outreach efforts in order to help our business grow. Learning how to create content that is engaging is an art. We are looking for someone who can use our products to communicate with our consumers through visual art while educating them in a fun engaging way.When we grow, we are able to hire more refugee women.Your Role: Creating strong visual and engaged posts on tik tok, IG and Pinterest.Content creation and schedule posts.Supporting outreach and collaboration with social media influencersHelp analyze weekly social media insights, and participate in strategy planningRequirements: An understanding or interest in the sustainable fashion industry A passion and interest in social justice issues including wage equity, racial justice, refugee issues, gender equity A college senior The ability to work 7/10hrs per week hours remotely Access technology such as a phone and laptop with the ability to access social media and other related platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Pinterest) Understanding of Google Suite and Microsoft Tools, Canva, Adobe Creative An understanding of social media marketing and strategy Experience in content management and content creation Strong oral and written communication Ability to meet deadlines Photography skills and video makingWhat you’ll gain: Experience in social media managementExperience in relationship building and collaborationAn understanding of social impact businessProgram credit and some of our hand embroidered pieces : )Job Types: Part-time, InternshipPay: From $13.00 per hourSchedule:Weekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
