Since 1946, The Dwarf House has grown from a single restaurant in Hapeville, GA into Chick-fil-A, one of the largest family-owned businesses in the country. As the original home of the brand, The Dwarf House has a special role in carrying on the culture and history in it’s own unique way.
The Dwarf House offers three avenues for serving our guests inside the restaurant: Drive Thru, Self Serve, and Full Serve. Our Full Serve is extra special because we offer heritage food items that Truett Cathy served on this original menu, as well as some southern favorites like hot browns, macaroni & cheese, green beans, and other delicious sides and food items. Guests also enjoy their favorite Chick-fil-A and Truett’s Specialty products while being cared for by a server and dining on china.

Job Description
The Server is a full-service team member committed to serving guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Takes guest food and beverage orders and enters orders into system
Explains food offerings and answers guest questions while demonstrating proficient knowledge of the menu
Ensures orders are complete and serves food and beverages to guests
Provides accurate checks at the end of the meal
Maintains table appearance, including pre-bussing, checking drink levels, removing clutter, and providing adequate utensils and supplies
Maintains adequate stock of menus, supplies, and silverware
Cleans various areas of the restaurant, including tables, counters, floors, and trash bins
Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
Other duties and responsibilities as directed by restaurant management
QUALIFICATIONS
Customer-friendly demeanor and willingness to serve
Able to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects, as needed
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English fluency required)
Able to maintain positive energy throughout shift with an outgoing, friendly, and patient attitude
Able to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency in getting things done
Able to think ahead and anticipate problems before they happen
Willing to work a flexible schedule and arrive to work at the scheduled time
Demonstrates integrity
