About Teenage Helpline
Teenage Helpline is an online mentoring service run by young people to be used by young people. The aims of Teenage Helpline are to provide the first stepping-stone for young people who may need to get professional support, but do not feel comfortable seeking this support for themselves. Not only this, but we also provide mentoring for young people who do not need professional support, but who need a little extra attention and support to help them cope with other personal issues.

As Recruitment Team Leader – Operations, you will work with two other team leaders to ensure successful coordination of the recruitment process. You will be responsible for leading the Operations Team, leading a team of Recruitment Leads who maintain our relationships with individual departments at Teenage Helpline, gain an understanding of their requirements and interview selected candidates.
You will be responsible for supporting any issues the Recruitment Leads raise to you, ensuring a good service and high quality candidates are provided to departments and helping to develop the recruitment team as Teenage Helpline continues to grow. You will be supported by the Recruitment Manager.
This role will be key is helping us continue to source fantastic candidates and develop our team.
This role is voluntary and based remotely. It is a requirement you will have your own device to work from.
Lead and look after wellbeing of team of volunteers
Ensuring process and procedure are followed to ensure good quality service
Providing guidance to volunteers
Escalating any issues as necessary to Recruitment Manager
Providing suggestions for continuous improvement in recruitment processes
Sharing knowledge as required
Encouraging a positive team relationship
Maintaining good working relations with other services
Managing team of Recruitment Leads
Responsibility for the overall provision of candidates to services
Ensuring links to services are maintained and encouraged
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Problem solving skills
Ability to motivate self and others
Ability to use Office 365/learn recruitment system
