About Asha Kiran:
Asha Kiran – the hope project is rebuilding the lives of extremely poor affected post-COVID-19 via a network of credible non-profits in partnership with the government. The project targets poor rural women, migrant/construction laborer families to provide immediate and long-term support with women at the center and by building on SHG networks. The/Nudge is working with Uttar Pradesh’s State Rural Livelihood Missions, non-profits, and private sector organizations to help scale the livestock models targeting the poor.
In an effort to promote rural livelihoods centered around small livestock management, we are working with Uttar Pradesh’s State Rural Livelihood Mission to implement and scale the livestock initiatives by providing research, value-chain design, capacity building, and technical support. This role will lead the capacity-building initiatives of the key stakeholders in the program including but not limited to the community, community cadre, and the program implementation teams at the state, district, block, and panchayat levels. In addition, a person in this role will also drive the learning & development of The/Nudge’s teams in-line with the program’s requirements, directly or in collaboration with our partners.
At The/Nudge you will:
own the design, development, and delivery of the best-in-class training programs for key stakeholders in the program (eg: community, community cadre, and the program implementation teams at the state, district, block, and panchayat levels)
work closely with the internal product teams and our technical partners to understand the training needs of various stakeholders at all levels
build a team of master trainers and trainers, design training materials, coach and support plans for trainers, and monitor trainer performance based on standardized parameters
conceptualize innovative and flexible methods to deliver on the capacity building needs (such as identification of partners, innovation in training delivery, and so on)
work closely with the implementation teams to build, implement, and review a training calendar for all stakeholders
gather feedback from the teams concerned to iterate and improve the quality of training programs
Apply if you have:
a graduate, post-graduate degree
5-7 years of work experience
a good understanding of learning & development processes, instructional design, content development, training delivery, and evaluation of training effectiveness
demonstrated success in implementing innovative training techniques and learning technologies
a strong bias for action and result-orientation
excellent interpersonal
demonstrated ability and willingness to learn continuously, collaborate, and be open-minded
a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
willingness to travel intensively in state and designated districts/block/panchayat as per the needs of the program’s goals
written and spoken fluency in Hindi and English
