Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Front-End Software Developer, you will be working as part of a full-stack team in a fast-paced environment developing the next generation of AI-infused management features used in our premier hybrid cloud management product. Working in an agile environment, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary squad working on the user interface within the large global development product group. Your work will involve close collaboration with Architects, DevOps Engineers and Offering Managers across our global organization.

You should have a strong grasp of:
Semantic HTML and modular CSS and JavaScript (ES6 and onwards)
Testing and resolving performance concerns
Strong understanding of core OOP practices
Strong understanding and experience with Angular, React, Vue, or other modern JS frameworks (Preferably AngularJs)
Familiarity with TypeScript (or experience with other strongly typed languages)
CSS preprocessors (i.e., Sass) and advanced CSS concepts (i.e., CSS3)
Understanding of Design Patterns and when/how to apply them
Strong ability to break down UI designs into extensible/modifiable/reusable/responsive component architectures
Leveraging APIs
Progressive enhancement
Team Git workflow and version control
Package managers (i.e., NPM, Yarn)
Scrum/agile software development methodologies
This role is open to be filled in either Austin, TX / Research Triangle Park, NC / Newark, DE / New York, NY / Boston, MA locations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1-2 years developing with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
1-2 years developing with Angular, React, Vue, or other modern JS frameworks (Preferably Angular)
Open-source contributions and community participation
Advanced knowledge in JavaScript (ES6 onwards)
Advanced knowledge in the unit, behavioral, and end-to-end testing (i.e., Jest, Mocha)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with AngularJs
Experience with React
Experience building/using UI design systems
Experience with test-driven development
Knowledge of emerging Web standards
Setting up continuous delivery toolchain
Experience with Java
Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure/GCP
Familiarity with containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration, and delivery.
Native mobile development
