Who We’re Looking For
Toyota’s Information Digital Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Developer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop high-throughput and highly responsive microservices-based web applications. Expertise with developing in a Cloud Kubernetes environment using platform components such as AWS, Spring Boot, Angular, NoSQL database, Containerization, Jenkins, CI/CD is essential. They must have experience building large-scale multi-tenant, microservices-based, highly optimized enterprise-grade applications. A successful developer will display learning agility and out-of-the-box thinking to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. They will also provide guidance and services to key team members.
Reporting to the Digital Factory Owner, the person in this role will support the Toyota Financial Services Business Enablement department’s objective to be the Partner of Choice, drive loyalty and profitability for our dealers, create value for Toyota, and make our customers’ lives better.
What You’ll Be Doing
Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and break down specific requirements for front-end and back-end features.Design/develop responsive customer-facing high throughput, high volume microservices-based web applications. Design user interfaces using the latest Angular 6 and above.Create Java Microservices with Spring Boot 2 backed by NoSQL databases such as Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc. Develop application codes and unit tests in Angular using jasmine test framework, Java Technologies, and Rest Web Services.Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches. Conduct performance tests.Identify opportunities for improvement and Kaizen existing processes, approaches, and technologies.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional work experience.Hands-on experience with Java.Experience with Microservices.Experience with REST technologies.Experience with Spring Boot.Experience with cloud technologies.Development experience in a large corporate enterprise environment.
