The Indian Tandoori Chef is required to know well about Tandoori cuisines and to cook fantastic meals with your talent at all times.
Avitivities & ResponsibilitiesPreparation, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialtyAssist with stock ordering and monitoring proceduresMaintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all timesParticipate fully in all meetings, training and forumsTake responsibility for your own personal developmentDemonstrate excellent food preparation practices, portion control and end to end food productionSupporting the Head Chef to deliver on all company measures & targetsFollow all company operational kitchen process and procedures, achieving all required standardsTake responsibility for delivering the highest measures of food production and presentation to customers including manning the live cooking stations if requiredMonitor food consumption to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and minimum wasteSupport the Head Chef in the introduction of new seasonal dishesCascade your knowledge and expert cooking to all kitchen staffSuggested innovation and commercially viable ideas to improve food qualityMonitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit marginsPerform any reasonable duties as required from time to time in order to contribute to the achievement of business aims and objectives
Minimum QualificationTwo or more years of experience in kitchen preparation and cookingAble to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnelAble to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 poundsAble to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)Experience in a similar style of cookingExcellent knowledge of relevant food and health & safety regulations
