Phoenix Services, LLC offers marketing-focused slag scrap management, innovative production support, intelligent transport and handling logistics, professional maintenance, customized protective packaging, and technology-driven project management.POSITION TITLE: Equipment Operator/ Truck DriverREPORTS TO: Shift SupervisorESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDuties· Bringing Transportation vehicles (e.g Terberg, Taylor Stacker, Fork Lifts, and Transportation Trucks, etc.) into service· Loading, extracting, and transporting materials with equipment to various locations throughout the mill· Communicating with dispatcher multiple times per day· Loading, extracting and transporting materials· Observing relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulations· Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and referdefects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment· Maintain and protect all property· Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and company safety programs· Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations· Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operationsMaybe assigned to Outbound Department requiring a CDL.Internal operators do not require a cdlJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:All employees are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.Work Location: One location
