Head of Learning & Business Development will oversee the Learning & Development Strategy and Sales for the organisation. You will have extensive experience of working with Senior Stakeholders to assess specific training needs and selecting the most appropriate process, structure, technology to deliver learning objectives. You will be responsible for the Management of Trainers, including creating strategies to improve the skills, productivity, quality of work and performance. Lead new learning initiatives to support the L&D strategy, from concept to delivery.
Work closely with the sales function to lead on Request for Proposal (RFP) engagements, contribute to marketing initiatives (internal and for clients) and act as the strategic Learning Subject Matter Expert
Design and implement large scale learning programmes focusing on behavioural and technical subject matter
Innovate and create ongoing organisational blended learning strategies
Communicate and align client learning strategies tailored to specific needs
Drive the evolution of the organisations L&D offering, advising when digital may be most appropriate
Ensure ongoing quality and impact of learning and explore ways to increase business opportunities through new and better learning offerings/methodologies
Strategic client management including attending and leading client engagement meetings and planning in a pre and post sales capacity
Preparing trainers for programmes – discussing outlines, checking materials deliver what we have agreed with the client
Managing feedback both from the trainer and the client
7-10 years of experience working as an LD professional
Experience of working within corporate or commercial organisations, designing and delivering high quality blended learning programmes
Proven experience of consulting with stakeholders to understand and determine the most suitable and effective learning solutions
Must have either sales or client account experience.
Must have an understanding of the Financial Services market
