What’s the Job?
Own and drive digital channel performance to grow the brand and ghd.com business. Innovate, execute, optimise global digital marketing initiatives and campaigns.
What will I do?
Work with Global Head of Digital Performance & CRM to develop global digital performance strategies to deliver increased traffic, optimise conversion, grow sales and expand brand awareness.
Monitor local digital marketing budgets to ensure the best possible return on ad spend
Deliver regular campaign, channel analysis reports against key metrics, with the purpose of identifying opportunities for future improvement and driving efficiencies within specific channels.
Develop best practices and global strategies for Paid social/ Display Advertising campaigns; ensuring alignment across other digital marketing channels.
Work closely with global affiliate partners and third parties and define best practice and frameworks for local market channel growth.
Work with global and local digital and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across relevant digital channels (website, social, video etc).
Work with Global teams to deliver digital assets to support always-on and new campaigns to drive conversions & engagement across relevant digital marketing channels in line with global toolkits
Leverage new digital initiatives to engage with consumers to enhance brand experience.
What skills and qualities will I need?
At least 5 years digital marketing experience in a retail and ecommerce environment
Understanding of digital media planning and buying process
Demonstrates drive, ability to juggle multiple projects and work in an agile way
Good experience with reporting on and guiding agencies and local markets on KPIs, best practice across Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates and Programmatic Display
Good technical understanding of tracking tags and product feed management.
Strong hands-on experience working with Affiliate networks (AWIN preferably), publishers and third-party partners as well as optimising Affiliate programmes.
Good experience with complementary tools, Search Ads 360, Google Ads Editor, DoubleClick and other tracking tools, Google Trends.
Experience in driving growth in SEO, implementing onsite and offsite strategies and best practice.
Excellent analytical skills, with a forensic understanding of account performance, and high proficiency in Excel.
Educated to degree-level, ideally in Business or Marketing.
Proven skills in building strong working relationship – both internally and externally.
A keen eye for detail, proof reading skills essential.
