We focus on both the retail and DTC digital markets, and focus on aggressive growth and expansion in both areas.While we are physically located in Los Angeles, CA we are happy to work remotely with qualified candidates throughout the US.About the role: We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team and support the the Head of Finance by providing valuable financial and commercial insights, analytics and advice, while also participating and contributing to commercial discussions aimed at improving financial performance.Key accountabilities: Directly support the Head of Finance in all requests and reconciliations related to ongoing audit supportSupporting the Operations team and the Marketing Team to drive better decisionsAP & AR Accounts reconciliationHep maintain financial models based on customer and stakeholder requirements.Maintain reports and provide insights and analysis both on a regular and ad-hoc basis to support value add decision making.Coordinate preparation of financial reporting and analysis, including hands-on month end responsibilities. Analyze monthly results against budget, giving insights into trends, issues and opportunities.Prepare detailed annual budget, quarterly forecasting and business planning, with a focus on opportunity, risk, and accuracy.Assist with the identification of continuous improvements of the existing reporting and forecasting processes with aim to improve information provided to the business.Assist in preparation of business cases, and post implementation reviews with a focus on cost benefit analysis.About you: 2 years’ experience in financial analysis and/or management accounting.Experience in financial modelling and analysisDemonstrable ability to think strategically and challenge business outcomes.Highly developed analytical skills with sound problem-solving ability.College graduate with major in accounting or finance related fields.Working towards CA/CPA qualification.We are looking for someone in the earlier stages of their finance career, who is looking to grow their skills while making a valued contribution to their team and business.You’ll need to be a natural communicator, not afraid to ask questions, challenge why we’re not doing something better, and be a seamless and easy support to the wider team.THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF: You do not enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentYou do not enjoy working with data or using evidence to drive your decision making processYou are not detail orientedADDITIONAL NOTESWe benefit from the great work our employees do each day.
