Location: London or Northampton – Ricoh operate a vibrant working policy so this gives you flexibility and a mix of home/office working but you will be required to be in Northampton at least once per week

Working as part of a high-performing finance function, reporting into either our Financial Controller or UK Commercial Finance Senior Manager, you will provide financial and commercial support to senior stakeholders across the Office Services or Office Print Business.

The role is fundamental to the financial management of the business, ensuring financial control & governance and working in partnership to generate commercial financial insight and drive transformation to deliver business targets.

You will undertake a pivot role for Ricoh UK & Ireland as we accelerate our future business strategy for Office Services and Office Print and you will act as a valued and trusted partner, making sound financial decisions to continue strong, ongoing departmental performance and planning.

We are looking for commercially skilled candidates, people with experience in business partnering, analysing business profitability or in FP&A in particular more than traditional accountancy.

What you will be doing…
Develop and maintain senior level relationships, providing financial data to influence stakeholder function and commercial insight to the leadership teams
Own all balance sheet reconciliations within your defined business areas; escalate identified risks and opportunities
Monitor cash position, commercial P&L / Line of Business performance and variance against agreed budget, providing detailed trend analysis and exception reporting
Drive cost management bringing concentrated understanding of cost drivers to optimise spend effectiveness
Support the financial leadership in the development of a credible and trusted finance function who provide commercial value
Lead and drive strategic financial transformation by challenging Senior stakeholders and demonstrating commercial influence
Owning the accurate preparation and completion of functional budgeting and re-forecasting
Advising and influencing key business planning assumptions, commercial and large-deal pricing and cost/revenue modelling activities
Lead the month-end process for your specific area, observing audit testing/regulations for clean audit reporting
Collaborate with Senior Finance Management and Business leaders providing detailed analysis and commentary for Board pack
Be champion of Finance transformation, operating with a growth mindset, partnering with the business, adding value, leading contractual commercial insights and offering solutions
Act as a mentor and coach to the Finance Analyst whilst working with a team-centric mindset

You will ideally have…
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Proven commercial finance experience working within a Professional Services / Consultancy Sector
Advanced knowledge of reporting, budgeting and forecasting process
Strong knowledge of control environment and governance
Strong commercial thought and foresight
Experience of successful finance transformation assignments would be ideal
Demonstrable ability to analyse and validate financial and performance data
Comfortable working in a challenging environment and influencing senior level leaders
Flexible and positive approach with can do attitude, looks for solutions rather than highlighting the issue
Excellent presentation skills – able to translate complex data for non-finance audience
