Position Summary: This position is primarily responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all the property food and beverage operations at the Jupiter office; maintaining accurate bookkeeping of the Food & Beverage area while maintaining high-quality products and service levels.*Essential Job Functions: Approaches all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, gracious, and service-oriented mannerResponsible for menu planning and preparationDemonstrates, embraces, and promotes the company’s Core ValuesMaintains high standards of personal appearance and is able to comply with our company grooming standardsComplies at all times with standards and regulations governing safe and efficient kitchen operationsPrepares the Food & Beverage budget for Jupiter and monitors the department performance with respect to the sameCoordinates and monitors all aspects of loss prevention in the food & beverage departmentPrepares and submits required invoices and reports in a timely mannerMonitor’s quality of service and food and makes immediate adjustments as necessaryEnsures timely purchase of food & beverage items, within budget allocationEnsures compliance of all liquor laws, and training, certifications, and health/sanitation regulationsDirects and oversees recruitment and development of employees including hiring, and trainingManages food & beverage staff providing effective coaching, counseling, and mentorship on an ongoing basisPerforms other duties as requested by managementAttends or conducts all training/meetings as required by managementRequired Education, Skills, and Experience: Qualifications include but are not limited to a degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related fields, plus 4+ years of related experience, including management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Effective time management.Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to organize and coordinate large social events/cocktail receptionsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to supervise and motivate personnelADA Job Description: The physical requirements and activities described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus, with or without correction, are required to perform activities such as, on occasion, viewing a computer monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing; close visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary.Environmental Conditions. A person may be exposed to some adverse environmental conditions, such as higher than normal temperatures (within a kitchen), working with a gas stove and handling knives. They may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery.
