About DeliveredWe are a fast-pace start-up developing a suite of delivery-only restaurant brands that leverage existing kitchen infrastructure in secondary and tertiary markets, starting in Washington DC. Delivered uses best-in-class branding, marketing, culinary and kitchen operations to create a myriad of food brands that will cater to a hungry and loyal customer base.ChefWe are seeking a founding team Chef to join our early stage business. As an early key hire of the company, you will work directly with our co-founders to champion our culinary vision and manage our first group of ghost kitchens. You will be responsible for building a team of cooks that can execute multiple delivery menu concepts while simultaneously keeping food quality at the highest level and costs in line. We will be building multiple cuisine brands that will require R&D while keeping up with a daily order volume of over 400 orders per day. If you are entrepreneurial and looking to take your ambition to an early stage company, where you can grow with the business, this opportunity is for you.Responsibilities include (but not limited to) :Menu Development & Implementation: Working closely with the Culinary Operations co-founder to develop and refine menus on a seasonal basis, as well as update our recipe database in a timely fashion.Running an efficient and cost responsible operation: Follow specs from the recipe database keeping inventory updated, keeping pars, placing orders and watching waste.General Labor Management: Grow the team and build trust. You will be in charge of managing the kitchen team and leading them to success with multiple concepts and menus while keeping labor costs in check.Training: Responsible for all training of on site food handlers focusing on detail, efficiency, waste management, food cost and safety.
