About the job
Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In this role, you will work on bringing Google’s story to life in the UK. Working closely with the Head of Brand Communications, you will oversee Google UK’s editorial strategy and calendar combining cultural insight and product magic to craft ideas and stories that delight and engage our UK users. You will guard Google’s tone of voice, working daily to evaluate brand opportunities. You will oversee video production and talent collaborations. You will also own content promotion plans determining what content we scale with paid media, partnerships, and other growth tactics in the search for ways to increase engagement while driving results for the brand and business.

Responsibilities
Plan and oversee the editorial calendar and elements of the UK brand plan.
Assess opportunities from across UK Marketing, managing inbound requests and team collaborations.
Ideate, produce, and distribute branded content with a focus on social video to support integrated campaign goals.
Manage large external agency teams and grow a roster of creative talent and influencers.
Responsibility for editorial/social budgets and budget reporting.
