The Early Careers recruitment team leads on all recruitment strategy and activity to ensure Jaguar Land Rover attracts and hires the highest calibre of early carers talent.
The role involves supporting the Early Careers Manager – Recruitment in all strategic recruitment activity across all Early Careers programmes in both the UK & Ireland.
Under the direction of the Early Careers manager – Recruitment, this role is specifically responsible for leading on all EC recruitment related activity with universities across the UK to support recruitment into all Early Careers undergraduate and graduate programmes. The role will however will also help support all recruitment activity for apprentice programmes.
The role involves working closely with the Early Careers recruitment and school leaver engagement and apprentice lead and the Senior Academy and Education Engagement Specialist to ensure that all activity is aligned and coordinated.
Although initially the Early Careers recruitment team cover recruitment in the UK and Ireland the scope of the team could expand in the future to global Early careers recruitment.
As the Early Careers Recruitment and University Engagement Lead, you’ll be responsible for:
Projects and activity as required by the Early Careers recruitment manager to ensure the successful execution of the Early Careers recruitment, attraction, candidate experience and engagement in the UK & Ireland to ensure hiring demand requests are met and candidates receive a first-class experienceWork closely with the Early Careers Manager – Recruitment to align skills acquisition and demand plan with university engagement and graduate/undergraduate hiring strategyWork with the Early Careers Manager – Recruitment to define and refine Jaguar Land Rover target universitiesEarly Careers recruitment team lead for all key university relationships: internal campus teams and network groups and external university Careers Advisory Services, Employer Engagement Teams and University Placements Officers to ensure all undergraduate and graduate programmes are promoted appropriatelyWorking in collaboration with the Early Careers Recruitment and school leaver engagement and apprentice lead, manage the Early Careers engagement and activity calendar to ensure all appropriate events and activity to support Early Careers hiring across all undergraduate and graduate programmes are identified and attended (within agreed budgets)Working with the Recruitment Marketing lead to create material for use across universities, working closely with the Early Careers Recruitment and school leaver engagement and apprentice lead, external creative partners and internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate and sufficient material available throughout the yearWork with the social media team to ensure all undergraduate and graduate programmes showcased on the relevant platformsLead on all university related events: careers fairs; webinars; workshops; open days to showcase and promote Jaguar Land Rover graduate/undergraduate hiring opportunities.Identify appropriate opportunities and events for promotion of the business and the undergraduate and graduate programmes specifically across universities and national events ensuring within agreed budgets.Manage the talent pool of volunteers for university engagement and undergraduate/graduate events coordinating with all relevant other stakeholders across Early CareersWorking closely with the Early Careers Recruitment and school leaver engagement and apprentice lead to lead on all open days and insight events across all undergraduate/graduate programmes both at attraction/application stage and post offer ensuring a mix of face to face and virtual activity to maximise applications and ensure minimal offer declines post acceptanceAs requested by the Early Careers Manager – recruitment take responsibility for content creation for role profiles and website ahead of go live: in conjunction with the Early Careers recruitment and school leaver engagement and apprentice leadWorking with the Early Careers Recruitment and school leaver engagement and apprentice lead to ensure branded goods collateral and fliers are ordered and secured for use as appropriate at recruitment events within budgets agreed with the Early Careers Manager – RecruitmentWorking with the EC Recruitment team and the operational Recruitment Delivery Team to ensure appropriate assessor briefing material created and delivered at the start of the assessment windowInterface with functional Early Careers HR Org leads as required by the Early Careers manager – RecruitmentAs directed by the Early Careers Manager – Recruitment in conjunction with the Recruitment Marketing team work on the Early Careers annual creative campaign and websiteMaintain knowledge of the national and international Early Careers market, particularly in the context of university activity. Regular review of responses from attraction and keep warm events and offerees’ questionnaires
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll join us with knowledge and understanding of the UK University market as well as this you’ll have knowledge and experience of high-volume recruitment.
Naturally, you’ll have understanding and knowledge in marketing and attraction campaigns, particularly a strength in virtual platforms and engagement.
You’ll also have:
