Job Description
Optimize FG inventory levels to achieve target service levels (Fill Rate and On-Time delivery) while minimizing distribution costs and reducing product obsolescence for assigned product categories.Provide updated forecast to suppliers for assigned product classes, communicate all parts that are priority.Evaluate Min/Max assigned to each part determine changes to achieve and align with fill-rate metrics and inventory goals.Use MRP, inventory reports and other relevant demand data to generate and ensure timely release of Purchase Orders to the supplier to allow lead-time, and on-time delivery.Provides root cause on delivery issues and participates with the team to fix root cause issues.Utilize DRP and other inventory reports to plan and generate Supply Chain Transfers (SCTs) on a daily basis.Manage internal and external product allocation process for products that are in short supply (including bought-out products)Coordinate with other departments on complex product deliveries (direct-to customers and/or overseas shipments).Ensure timely and accurate ERP information in Syspro to support Available to Promise commitments.Monitor KPIs for Fill Rate, On-Time delivery and inventory levels.Escalate issues when they impact corporate / department goals.Troubleshoot transactional records to resolve SCTs issues.Continuously improve, refine and automate the replenishment process to achieve corporate objectives.Develop and strengthen cross-functional and cross-site communication channels.Maintain high levels of customer service, both internally and externally.This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.Position RequirementsBachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on Supply Chain, Distribution, Planning or five years supply chain related experienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supply planning/distribution/ fulfillment role for a manufacturer of consumer productsExperience with DRP/MRP a plusStrong analytical skills and the ability to use business acumen to analyze facts, report findings, recommend and implement corrective actions.Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple priorities during normal business hours.Effective verbal, written and presentation skills.APICS certification a plusTableau and/or Syspro experience a plusJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:bought-out and distribution: 3 years (Required)MRP/DRP: 3 years (Required)supervisory/management: 3 years (Required)Purchasing or Production Planning: 2 years (Required)working in a manufacturing environment: 3 years (Required)Tableau: 1 year (Preferred)International Buying: 1 year (Required)Work Location: Remote
