GRM US seeks a dynamic and exceptional leader to develop and manage the workforce planning, resource management and workload balancing strategies for our Claims operation.
The successful candidate will provide leadership across multiple teams in a virtual environment, creating alignment, transparency and accountability with an emphasis on coaching and developing talent, and positioning us to be successful long term. He/she will apply analytical insights to help influence decisions and set direction in a complex environment, while leveraging knowledge of the Claims organizations and strong relationships with Claims leadership to enable implementation of desired strategies within the team. This role will report to the Manager of Workforce Management.
Provides strategic thought leadership to influence simplification and effectiveness of claims assignments for Claims APD and Property, leveraging both process excellence and tech enablement mindsets
Leads discussions, collaborates, and influences with cross-functional partners across Claims including Claims leadership, key stakeholders, analytics partners, and team to align on claims handling strategies through the use of data driven decisions, transparent processes, and evaluation of tradeoff decisions and downstream impacts.
Assesses, plans, and executes on strategic roadmap for long term support of Claims, including State Auto transitions and support for the broader Claims organization
Provides key insights into overall operational results and identifies opportunities for efficiencies and improvements. Builds the business case for making changes to current practices or procedures and oversees the development of presentations to senior management and stakeholders regarding findings and recommendations.

Hires, develops, provides coaching to team members. Defines individual performance objectives and development plans, and ensures alignment with department, function, and SBU objectives.
Fosters an environment in which continuous improvement methodologies are applied to deliver value to customers and provides guidance, leadership and support for special projects.
Knowledge of business operations, policies, procedures, and priorities, to include a strong understanding of the function`s value chain and market conditions.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, software applications.
Ability to plan/organize/delegate work, communicate effectively, analyze and solve problems, give constructive feedback and praise, create alignment and adapt.
Displays solid business acumen and integrated thinking.
Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience in addition to a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to include leadership experience, strategic visioning and execution, and prior experience effectively providing mentoring/guidance to others.
