We make it easy to create unforgettable moments.Job OverviewThe Director Inventory Management is a key business partner to Merchandising, Sales, Merchandise Planning, and vendors to drive sales while maximizing inventory return on investment. This position is responsible for driving in stock by partnering with vendors to ensure adequate supply in both DC & Store locations while optimizing the assortment and catalog offerings. The role is responsible for the development and execution of processes and systems that are used to effectively manage inventory performance. This position will lead a team that will be accountable for the successful execution of planning and forecasting of inventory for the wholesale partners, retail stores and web and directly report to the Vice President of Inventory Management.Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop and communicate comprehensive department inventory strategies and processes in alignment with multiple channels, department plans, key inventory targets, and financial goals.Create and execute strategies for the implementation of replenishment and inventory achieve key financial outcomes while proactively identifying improvements.Oversee the partnership with merchandise planning and wholesale strategies to meet financial goals and proactively change directions when needed.Leverage reports and analytics to make recommendations in line with business strategy and goals.Review buying multiples, minimums, replenished forecasts, lead-times, and vendor performance to optimize inventory performance.Partner and collaborate with management, manufacturing, and suppliers to proactively the collaborative forecasting process to drive inventory productivity, product availability and cost productivity.Coach, hire and retain a team of Managers, Planners and Specialists to perform successfully.Qualifications10+ years of proven and successful experience in Supply Chain knowledge and Inventory ManagementBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceDeep understanding of Inventory Management principles and systems in any or all Retail, eCommerce, and WholesaleDeep knowledge of distribution, transportation, and supplier manufacturing principlesWell versed in financial inventory metricsAbility to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment.Superior analytical skills, with ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions.Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to drive sales and maximize inventory potential.A strong sense of ownership over work and resultsCommunicates effectively with all levels of the organization.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExpert & high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and AccessJob Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
