Summary of Position (Job Purpose)
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a new position that will support the website and application marketing channels to plan and execute our company’s programs, goals, seasons, and campaigns on our websites and app. The key goal will be to maintain & optimize the user experience that drives sales, both online and in stores. The ideal candidate will be very organized, analytical, have a high level of attention to detail, and have experience in conceptualizing creative work and launching marketing campaigns.

The Coordinator will maintain relationships with key business partners to assist with the calendaring, production and trafficking of all marketing materials related to our websites and apps. This role will understand and adhere to our brands and department goals while working closely with merchants and marketing-channel teams across paid media, addressable, and content to ensure the timely execution of omni-channel campaigns. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the website and app specialists and manager to assist in the overall growth of the website and application platforms for both Dollar Tree and Family Dollar.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and implement marketing content for website and app for that aligns with department calendar.
Maintain team’s website/app calendar.
See website and app content through from conceptualization to deployment and analysis, working closely with designers, copywriters, and web developers for execution.
Test, schedule, and deploy website and app content, ensuring accuracy at each step.
Support in planning and implementing A/B testing.
Partner with supervisor in the analysis of and reporting on website/app performance and/or campaign performance and behaviors and incorporate learnings into current and future planning.
Work closely with the Creative Services Team on assets needed for website and app and ensure all campaigns adhere to brand standards.
Support the company’s other websites in planning and execution.
Become knowledgeable and well-versed on Dollar Tree and Family Dollar’s digital marketing solutions.
Proofread marketing campaigns for accuracy, test channel proofs, and support deployment efforts.
Compile, analyze, and deliver regular marketing campaign reports and insights.
Focus planning around peak holidays and events/activations that are key for our business.
Support and execute other digital marketing tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Business Administration, or other related field
1 – 3 years of digital marketing experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience leveraging content management systems
Experience analyzing website data using an analytics tool (i.e. Google Analytics)
A/B Testing experience in retail or ecommerce industries is a plus
Exceptional working knowledge of various design programs and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
