Requirements for a digital marketing associate include a basic understanding of social media, email marketing, SEO, and paid search/paid social. The job also involves a thorough understanding of digital marketing concepts, as well as a good understanding of current advertising strategies.As a digital marketing associate, you will need to manage tasks such as the creation of advertising materials, generating ideas for campaigns, creating website content, and designing digital materials and advertisements. You will also be required to assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns. Experience with Klaviyo is a plus.ResponsibilitiesAs a Digital Marketing Associate, you’ll be responsible for the creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns and social media content, as well as some administrative work.Executing SEO initiatives, including site audits, keyword analysis, competitive analysis, on-site code implementation and optimization, local listing development, and link buildingIdentifying, tracking, and reporting on KPIsDevelop and execute email marketing strategies, flows, and campaignsDeveloping and executing social media campaignsMonitoring competitors online activitiesCreating reports to measure the success of the company’s digital marketing initiativesResearching the latest trends in search engine optimization, social media, and content marketingConducting keyword research to determine which keywords will attract specific demographicsDeveloping a company’s online advertising strategy based on budget, target demographic, and desired outcomeBuilding a company’s online presence through blogging, social media management, and email marketingExecuting the digital marketing campaign by creating landing pages, writing and implementing email content, writing articles and blogs, and setting up Google and Facebook Ads Ads.QualificationsB.A. in marketing/business or a related field1-2 years of relevant experience within an agency environmentKnowledge of Microsoft Office and the Google Apps suite is a must. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads/Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Authority Labs, Photoshop, Klaviyo, and/or HTML is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of comfort using email and the Internet, in particular, strong understanding in using search engines such as Google, Bing, etc.The knack to quickly pick up new skills and learn new tasksAbility to work independently, as well as frequently multitaskingComprehension of applied marketing strategies.
