We are looking for a Digital Content Manager to join our multi award winning Communications Service in London’s most exciting borough.
Our online audiences have never been more important. We have built our digital infrastructure and nurtured an online audience of over 100,000 users to help tell our story and encourage two-way engagement so we can work with our residents to create a better borough.
Covid has led to many of our residents depending on these channels and switching over from traditional media at a faster rate.
The Digital Content Manager is a key role in our team to ensure that we retain our audiences, as well as increasing them as our borough becomes more digitally active.
You will oversee our Granicus newsletter system, Orlo social media system and be heavily involved in our new consultation platform called Let’s Talk Tower Hamlets.
You will be joining one of the best public sector teams in the country. Over the past few years, we have won national awards for campaigns, social media, ethics and crisis management.
But we want to go further, and our new Digital Content Manger will be key to achieving it.
The role is for a senior, high calibre public sector communications specialist with;Significant experience in digital mediaStrong newsletter, social media and consultation experienceExcellent eye for detail, design and writing skillsPolitical nousStrong relationship management skillsExperience working in a local authority or government organisation is preferable
