The Digital Content Creator is part of the Brand and Culture Communications Center of Excellence and is responsible for content creation across Nutrien’s global social media and web properties.
This is a temporary position for 12-month term with the potential for renewal. This position is available for remote work.
What you will do:
Manage the day-to-day activities on Nutrien’s global social media accounts: managing mentions and direct messages, monitoring, and flagging opportunities or challenges
Manage the social media content schedule and create social media content using video, photo, and other creative forms per our social media strategy
Measure desired social media and web metrics and create regular reports
Assist with multimedia content creation for external website (Nutrien.com) and intranet website (The Feed) stories and pages
Assist with employee and business storytelling, including writing and publishing articles and pages to Nutrien.com and the Feed
Collaborate with others both internally and externally; from immediate team members to other Nutrien business units, to external vendors and stakeholders
Assist with training on social media tools for other Nutrien team members
What you will bring:
You are a strong writer and editor; you know how to write for social and web platforms
You are thorough and detail-oriented; you care about each post being the best it can be
You have an eye for design, and you know how to lay out information in the way that will best suit your audience
You have a deep understanding and know how to best leverage varying platforms and audiences (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
You stay up to date and are curious about new and emerging social media trends
You are comfortable with technology and software, and able to learn new platforms quickly
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, OpenShot or other design and editing tools preferred.
Knowledge of Sprout Social, search engine optimization, TikTok, Google Analytics, SharePoint, and Drupal/Adobe CMS an asset
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range $64,750 – $92,500 USD. This range is estimated for a Digital Content Creator in [insert State for Equal pay legislation]. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
Our benefit package provides paid sick days. However, given the temporary nature of this role, this position does not participate in any other benefit, retirement savings or paid time off programs, nor any form of incentive compensation. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations.
