Job Title: Dance Marketing Coordinator, Parlophone / FFRR Records

Parlophone is one of the UK’s most iconic record labels with a long history within dance culture. From Kraftwerk to FFRR, Diplo to Disciples, The Petshop Boys to David Guetta, Spinnin’ Records to Ofenbach, the label has deep roots within the electronic music space. Parlophone has a broad catalogue of electronic artists as well as relationships with several of the UKs leading labels and MCNs. We pride ourselves on a specialist level of expertise, spanning the hottest breaking talent to deeply established leaders in their field.
As Dance Marketing Coordinator at Parlophone you’ll work very closely with the Dance Marketing Manager and A&R, collaborating closely with our evolving roster of artists to deliver cutting edge globally minded campaigns. With the position’s high focus on Dance and Electronic music, we’re seeking an individual with a great passion and knowledge of the space and its many sub genres. You’ll be creative, organised, passionate and accountable, with a good understanding of marketing and consumer behaviour. To be successful in what we do, we are capable of working well under pressure and to tight deadlines, we are proactive and resilient, and display an interest in bringing ideas to the table.
Here you’ll get to:
You will be responsible for the strategic direction, planning, implementation, and management of a roster of UK and international artist marketing campaigns.
You will work closely with artists, artists managers and A&R on artist development and with the digital team to drive audience growth.
You will champion your releases with the commercial teams, sharing campaign objectives, delivering powerful updates with all partners and teams.
Coordinating and managing the commission and approval process for art direction and marketing assets (radio, social, outdoor, visualisers and videos).
Manage bi weekly FFRR dance updates for international teams.
Manage third party playlist updates, UGC Youtube mailers and FFRR Club mailers via Inflyte service for all tracks.
Support Marketing Manager in devising creative, attention grabbing marketing strategies on major campaigns to capture both audience and media’s attention, within both specialist and mainstream electronic music culture.
You will collaborate closely with internal and external teams including A&R, creative, digital, promotions, social, international, sync and brands to craft ground-breaking campaigns for your artists to deadline and budget. Maximise opportunities across D2C, live, brand, sync and other non-traditional music label income
Managing all communications with our Social Media company including overseeing approval of content plans & asset approval for all FFRR social channels. Proactively suggesting content ideas too.
Manage general administrative duties including raising invoices, coordinating team diaries, scheduling meetings, organising ticket buys, updating the internal release schedule & manage scheduling using the internal software IMP.
Overseeing stock levels for the FFRR website and additional merchandise manufacturing and potential products for the store.
Proven track record delivering successful artist marketing campaigns, with a particular emphasis on Dance genres.
Passionate, knowledgeable and fully immersed in Dance and Electronic music and culture.
Friendly, outgoing, professional and gets involved.
Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision and problem-solve effectively and use your own initiative.
Organised, efficient and able to prioritise tasks with an excellent level of accuracy whilst managing multiple priority projects simultaneously
Accountable and organised with strong sense of time management.
Collaborative, team player, ability to form good relationships with colleagues (internally & externally).
Strong understanding of digital, social and streaming trends and data proficiency and ability to interpret data to make strategic recommendations
Strong awareness of both the online and offline electronic music ecosystem. Including streaming / social / editorial / club / live / and curator spaces.
Strong interest in social media and its power to influence commercial behaviour.
We’d love it if you also had:
2-3 years experience in a label, management, influencer, DSP or similar company environment.
