Job Description

As a Contractor Relations Onboarding Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a growing team of Onboarding Specialists. Your team is laser-focused on Redfin’s Associate Agent organization with a mission to provide world-class service and onboarding/training to the individuals who support the best Real Estate Agents in the industry. You’ll utilize a combination of virtual, eLearning, and blended solutions to achieve your goals. You are responsible for overseeing and maintaining a rigorous onboarding/training program for Associate Agents which is a launching point for many new Associate Agents’ real estate careers. You consult with senior leadership, Program Management, Analytics, and other stakeholders to identify and quantify training solutions that support strategic initiatives, product releases, and address current deficiencies in service. Your team’s training/onboarding solutions connect with your audience, going beyond the skills needed for their day-to-day responsibilities serving Redfin’s customers.
The Role:
Partner with the rest of Contractor Relations leadership, Program Managers, Analytics, and Executives to establish priorities, create onboarding programs, and evaluate the success/impact of all training initiatives that impact the Associate Agent Organization at Redfin.
You’re goal-oriented and know how to translate business needs into a learning strategy to produce measurable results.
You have experience performing gap assessments to determine better outcomes, reduce time to proficiency and reduce attrition among other objectives.
Make our onboarding process more efficient while keeping Associate Agent service quality high
Manage a team of remote employees; keeping people engaged and focused while also maintaining the tight-knit team culture we’ve built. Work with your Onboarding Specialists to establish yearly and quarterly goals and hold them accountable to these goals.
Develop your team to take a consultative approach to client service, ensuring training solutions address root causes while identifying other contributing factors or barriers to the desired state and suggesting solutions to leadership and program managers.
Use data to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend changes for ongoing improvement.
Foster Creativity. You’ll have all delivery methods and learning technology available to you. Your team must use them creatively for training that sticks and can scale as the brokerage and Support organization grows.
You understand new and emerging learning technologies and tools.
You are nimble and resourceful in managing the logistics and operations of running onboarding programs, especially during peak hiring season.
You possess a deep understanding of all the aspects of the Associate Agent organization and can develop training solutions that balance the seasonality of our business with hitting strategic goals set by stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience
Extensive knowledge of instructional design principles and implementation of both classroom and virtual delivery methods with exceptional skill managing complex, cross-functional projects across multiple business units
Experience consulting within the business to identify and address training gaps
Experience writing learning strategy documents at the program and business unit level
Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop a team comprised of remote members
Excellent in PC skills, MS Office/Google docs, video and graphic editing, and working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Outstanding communication skills including proposal documents to an executive audience
BS/BA in Business, L&D, Psychology or a related field preferred and minimum 2 years experience managing a team

(1) Starting Base Salary: $64,200 – 96,300. Actual starting base salary will depend on varying circumstances, including individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs.
(2) Other compensation information: a general description of any bonuses, commissions, or other compensation incentive Redfin is offering for the positionPotential for quarterly bonuses based on company performance.Potential for merit increases and stock grants based on performance.
