Job Description

Evolve Mortgage Services is looking for a Closing Manager to oversee our growing outsourced Closing Fulfillment department which uses a proprietary disclosure and closing platform and works with an array of clients utilizing multiple different LOS platforms. The Closing Manger is responsible for managing Initial Disclosure and Closing functions for a pipeline that is expected to increase to approximately 150 to 200 monthly originations. This role will include supporting day to day client and staff questions, ongoing staff training, new client training during onboarding, process improvement, and ensuring quality and compliant disclosure and closing services. This manager will work closely with staff across Evolve’s Underwriting and Closing departments to ensure seamless transactions.

Specific Duties:
Disclosures and Closing
Ability to support Retail, Wholesale, Non-delegated Origination Channels
Keeping up with changing compliance regulations and ensuring all loans are processed in adherence to those new regulations
Work with team leaders and closers to resolve loan level issues or escalations
Work with clients to resolve loan level issues or escalations
Work with Evolve Team to resolve/identify issues and escalations as needed
Reviewing post-closing audit for findings, and resolving any issues for investor delivery resulting from closing services
Embrace and Implement process improvement via technology or process
Experience with Non-Escrow and Escrow state Closings and Fundings
Funding Experience is preferred.
Experience with Outsource Fulfillment Closing Services preferred
Experience in Multiple LOS platforms is a benefit
Proficient in all aspects of closing relating to State, Federal and Investor requirements.
Confident managing a pipeline of 200 loans a month
Ensure that quality standards adhere
Conduct training as a need to ensure quality performance
Ensure and relay to clients that any issues are addressed
Ensure that all employees work performance is to expectations and trends that may need to be addressed
Ensure that the checklist is maintained and updated
Validate quality findings and identify areas of needed improvement for ongoing training
Client Satisfaction
Ensure SLA (Service Level Agreements) are maintained.
Coordinate ongoing client meetings to ensure client expectations are met
Proactive communication with clients
People Management
Identifying ongoing training needs for current and new employees.
Maintaining the proper staffing levels based on volume projects
Conducting meetings with clients, auditors, Team Lead and Closers to discuss any changes or updates to any regulations for review

Experience and Education
5+ years of closing loan experience
5+ years of management experience
College degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills
Technologically savvy, with the ability to work in varied systems
Active Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Jumbo, and non-QM loan types
Experience in on-line training tools
Excellent personal relationship skills
Excellent written & telephone communication
Ability to work from home and maintain a separate workspace with specific (regular) business hours.
