Petersen Health Care is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist for long term care data entry. This position will be located at our office in Peoria, IL.This position is responsible for performing data entry into the the billing module Answers on Demand, a Matrix Care product and our web based census program. Use of the Medicare Common Working File and the State of Illinois MEDI software will be used to verify payer sources.Job ResponsibilitiesReviewing demographic and payer information and entering accurately into the billing software.Balancing reports to assure numbers equal between programs.Collecting and confirming accurate payer sources.Corresponding with the business office and or administrator in nursing facilities throughout the state.Following up on outstanding items.Required Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentKnowledge of and skill in using computers and related software for word processing (such as Word), spreadsheet (such as Excel) and billing software.Must be organized and pay close attention to detail.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftWork Location: One location
