The Oxfordshire Registration Service plays a key role is supporting people through some of their most important life events through the registration of births, deaths, marriages, civil partnerships and citizenship.
About the role
The Business Manager is a key role within the Registration Service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a strong and committed management team to build on the high standard of service of which we are proud. The Registration Service is continually evolving to keep pace with changing legislation and demand from our customers, so the successful candidate will thrive in an environment of change and will collaborate effectively with the management team and with staff to implement change.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator that is comfortable dealing with the often-unpredictable day-to-day challenges that arise in this customer-facing service.
The ideal candidate should be great at managing and mentoring staff, as well as fully capable of making all aspects of the business run more efficiently from marketing to finance, building management and IT. If you are flexible, with a can-do attitude and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure exceptional customer service is always delivered, we would love to meet you.
