The Business Manager will be responsible for effectively mobilizing the senior staff and broader organization against the team charter. As Business Manager you will have the ability to think strategically across the company and effectively develop key processes, procedures and communications that facilitate business execution. You will hold the Leadership team accountable to deliver on their financial commitments within the Operating Model, establish controls to optimize Consumption Revenue and Billing within your organization. You will be a role model of expected behaviors and driving accountability, responsibility and learning through every level in the organization. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated mastery in strategic storytelling using analytics and insights. The Business Manager will coach and advise the leadership team around operational issues, participate in overall strategy decisions and partner in business execution across our global organization. You will be a change leader and safeguard the culture of the organization.
Responsibilities
Business Management
Set and drive the strategic agenda for the leadership team as both an independent and key contributor to decision-making.
Serve as an effective business partner, working closely with and across SBO, BEO, the Field, Finance and HR to ensure business rhythm requirements are met with high quality.
Lead fiscal planning processes and investment strategies, in alignment with the organization needs.
Create cascading group communications roadmap and rhythm within your team and with other groups; drive internal communications from Exec and Leadership team (e.g., Share Point, All Hands, Exec Communications) to make sure staff and stakeholders are informed and aligned against business goals.
Prioritize landing FY22 Organizational and Operating Model changes and drive adoption within your organization.
Coordinate/Orchestrate Strategic Planning Process and Business RoBs.
Employee Engagement and People Management; Support leadership as they Attract, Retain and Develop employees in a highly competitive talent market.
Communications; create sustained, pervasive connections and conversations across our organization to deliver better employee experience and organizational performance
Drive individual/special projects as required by Exec and Leadership Team (LT).
Manage the Chief of Staff team including business management, financials, people/talent rhythms and communications functions.
Impact Culture
Lead the organization in culture creation including developing a holistic people development plan.
Be an active Change Agent and an empathetic crafter of culture for your leader and organization.
Embodying Microsoft Leadership Principles (Creating clarity, generating energy, and delivering results).
Evolve the XIS Business role and perception across One Microsoft approach from planning to execution with alignment of investment and resources across all Enterprise stakeholders (EC, CSU, STU, CSE, M&O).
Deliver Consumption Commitment
Work with your leader to deliver on Consumption metrics.
Partner with the project and account team to ensure that Consumption milestones are on-track and properly shared.
Enable Consumption delivery tracking to facilitate Consumption measurement.
Champion Compliance
Act as the escalation point for systemic compliance issues.
You are expected to be the local expert and contact point for local regulations, and security, privacy and data protection.
You are the primary point person to drive compliance actions throughout your organization.

Support the Leader
Plan, lead, and facilitate leadership and team off-sites ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, and objectives are achieved.
Monitor and strengthen our business policies and auditing, and improve our capacity for operating our business effectively

7+ years of proven management experience and results with experience across multiple disciplines
5+ years of program management skills to organize a busy workload and deliver projects on time
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
