At LexisNexis UK, our Go to Market team is responsible for targeting and selling to our core markets and partnering with our customers to mitigate risk, increase efficiency and drive growth.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Business Development team based in Sutton within the Go to Market function at LexisNexis. This successful team are proven high performers who work collaboratively to support one another to achieve their targets.
Our Business Development Executives proactively engage with potential clients to understand their specific business challenges, needs and requirements. Identifying and then educating on how LexisNexis is uniquely positioned to support them in accessing legal, regulatory, and business information and analytics. You will help lawyers win cases, manage their work more efficiently, serve their clients better and grow their practices. You will assist businesses in better understanding their markets, monitoring their brands and competition, and in mitigating business risk.
You should apply if:
You can demonstrate solid experience of solution-based consultative selling preferably within a B2B environment
You can demonstrate ability to used metrics-based selling across a broad range of stakeholders
You will have the ability to converse with your customers to gain insight and understand needs and challenges
You will have excellent written and verbal communication with superior business acumen
You have a genuine desire to drive successful outcomes for customers and a natural ability to identify and demonstrate product value by linking to our USPs
You will be highly motivated, resilient with a passion to take on new challenges
You have experience using sales methodology including Challenger, Spin, and Miller Heiman
You are interest in the law and want an alternative career in the legal sector

If you are not a highly organised individual who can work autonomously – the role requires concurrent management of multiple engagements and track and capture customer journeys maintain detailed
you aren’t comfortable working in past paced target driven environments – The roles requires tenacity and a desire to engage those who may not initially see the value in what we can offer
