Project Summary:
FindLaw (http://findlaw.com/) is the leading provider of online legal information and solutions for the legal community, professionals and consumers in the United States. FindLaw provides law firms with Web sites to generate lucrative new business through the web and uses technology to systematically build stronger, more profitable relationships with existing clients. Attorneys can also be prominently listed on our web portal, FindLaw.com, the world’s most-visited legal information site.
FindLaw has an immediate opening for the position of Associate Web Developer. And the responsibilities include but not limited to ::
Design, Develop and Maintain website using standard HTML/CSS practices on WordPress platform.
Write and utilize JavaScript, HTML, XHTML and CSS in the development and ongoing support of websites.
Integrate websites and other products into proprietary Thomson Reuters applications & WordPress.
Website Graphics and Imagery: Update, modify and correct graphical design elements on websites; Correct or recreate Photoshop files that are incomplete, missing elements, outdated or missing; handle any other graphical requests.
Work cross-functionally with designers, content writers, project managers, and other contributors to ensure sites are released on-time with a high level of customer satisfaction. Follow-up to resolve any issues with site/product.
Integrate websites and other products into proprietary Thomson Reuters applications.
Hold final accountability for quality of HTML, CSS & XML coding on the site.
Education:
4-year degree or certificate in a related field required.
1-2 Years of related professional experience in web design and/or web coding.
Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:
Experience in WordPress, Divi, HTML, CSS and JavascriptExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in a production oriented, deadline driven environmentWeb design/development concepts and processes
