Mission
The Associate Web Developer/Web Designer is responsible for design, front-end development, production and maintenance of assigned SWF digital experiences, including but not limited to branded websites, retailer micro-sites, and mobile and social media applications.
Objectives
70% – Web page design, development, animation, production and maintenance.
Establish design standards with Digital Creative Team in:
Developing design concepts
Creating wireframes, sitemaps, and mockups
Implementing HTML and CSS coding
Knowledge in CMS and Sass is recommended
Support creation of user-centered design interfaces in SWF websites, must make design decisions based on online user behaviors
Collaboration on the development of site structure strategies, considering factors such as: persuasive architecture, usability, linking structure and metrics
Collaboration with art directors and copywriters to maintain brand cohesiveness
Website development including programming and maintenance as needed
20% Project Coordination
Participate in the coordination of assigned projects throughout the project life cycle (development through implementation); including discovery, and initial assessment, program definition, creative development, program launch, measurement and reporting
Collaborate closely with Digital Creative Team and IT web developers
Work with internal departments and external vendors in planning, implementation and launch of projects
Document issues and communicate with team members
10% – Quality Assurance and Success Measurement
Have intermediate knowledge in:
Interactive marketing best practices and industry standards
Web tracking tools (i.e. Google Analytics)
SEO – search engine optimization
Linking strategy
Ensure SWF websites meet desired business objectives, brand guidelines, and creative standards
Quality – Integrates quality at the source thinking and activities in daily, individual, team and project work. (Applies to all job duties 100%)
Utilizes quality/process tools and methodology in daily individual work
Utilizes quality/process tools and methodology on teams
Defines and documents individual processes within sphere of control
Improves processes within sphere of control
Identifies waste and rework and enacts plan to improve/solve
Checks satisfaction of internal customers through use of quality tools and Customer/Supplier metrics Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Requirements
1+ years Front-end Developer experience required
2 or 4-year degree in Web Design, Web Programming, Internet Marketing or equivalent experience required
1+ years of relevant experience required
