POSITION TITLE: Market Area Manager/SupervisorREPORTS TO: Director of OperationsWORKS WITH: Operations Team/Restaurant ManagersPOSITION SUMMARYTo provide additional restaurant support for managerial operational needs, event planning, and execution. Will help to execute restaurant operations at local levels. Will provide support to another manager in the same market. Will help increase customer satisfaction in a specific area. Must be capable of working 50 plus hours per week on multiple shifts in a restaurant floor and kitchen environment. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to travel for up to a week at a time depending upon the need.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES·Will observe staff and restaurant activities, to ensure they are in accordance with the operational standards, procedures, and policies. Provide written analysis of observations – strengths & opportunities.· Will provide feedback and coaching at the restaurant level to improve the guest experience.· Must be friendly and outgoing, and create energy not only for the Dreamland Brand but also for staff members.· Must assist Director of Operations with projects as needed including coverage as needed, best serving techniques, food quality, and safety.· Will help to ensure a safe and secure work and dining environment for personnel and guests.· Will assist with menu development, operations manual enhancement, and reinforcing procedural changes.· Assist with keeping Operations Manual and Catering Manual up to date· Assist managers with labor scheduling and food variance best practices· Will support the other area manager with Operational processes and provide feedback to ensure accountability and improvement.AUTHORITY, RESPONSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITY· Will maintain a working knowledge of all recipes, products, cooking procedures, food service laws, and regulations.· Responsible for overall customer service and food quality. Regularly taste tests menu.· Inspects entire restaurant & property during visits to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and high industry standards.· Is responsible for the proper administration of all cash handling procedures.· Any other duties determined by the Operations Director and CEO.Education: Must have a minimum of a high school diploma. A two-year college education is preferred. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
