Oversee the operation of Accounts Receivable (Cash Applications) assuring Covetrus receipts are properly applied, all requests are posted timely, and customer accounts receivable balances are maintained timely and accurately. Direct, review, and appraise activities and performance of the Accounts Receivable Specialists. Automate and stream-line functions and processes to enhance departmental efficiency and productivity. Develop and update Accounts Receivable policies and procedures and effectively communicate changes to outside customers and the organization. Collaborate with Credit, Collections, and other departments as needed to reconcile customer accounts receivable. Oversee Accounts Receivable (Cash Applications) operations assuring Covetrus receipts are properly applied and posted timely, billing requests are posted timely and receivable balances are maintained timely and accurately. Oversee distribution of all customer statements and prepare monthly statement deadlines.Manage and direct a department employees and ensure requisite tools and training exist to perform job functions. Conduct timely and effective performance reviews, motivate staff members to accomplish pre-established goals and objectives, and develop personnel to assume additional and elevated responsibilities.Assist in evaluating and establishing necessary Covetrus accounts receivable policies and verify compliance. Develop and maintain detailed job descriptions, account definitions, and department forms and procedures.Correspond with customers, branches and any other corporate personnel regarding accounts receivable-related questions or issues. Handle escalated issues and research as needed. Maintain relationships with Credit, Collections, and other departments to ensure a team culture within Covetrus.Perform accounts receivable month end close. Prepared and distributes monthly KPI reports. Participates in yearly audits by preparing reports and schedules as required by the Auditors.Covetrus is a federal contractor and abides by the Drug Free Workplace Act (DFWA).
