Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this key finance team member will be responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable (AR) and collections including generating invoices, the collection of past due accounts receivable amounts, resolving customer disputes, cash application and account reconciliations.Duties include but are not limited to the following:Generate, process and mail monthly invoices ( >2,000 invoices per month across 3 companies)Daily cash applications, processing of ACH, credit card and check paymentsMake collection calls and send statements to customers on a daily basis to ensure that past dues are minimal and cash collections are optimizedResolve customer disputes and respond to customer communications in a timely and professional mannerWork with customer if contracts are transferred to new customers, to ensure smooth transition and minimal payment delays.Reporting to include tracking of cash receipts, aging analysis and other collections reportsOther ad hoc projects as requiredSkills: Minimum of 5 years of AR & collections experience for commercial/business accounts with excellent success rate on minimizing past dues.Working knowledge of the processing of electronic payments (Credit Card/ACH/EFT)Detail orientated and strong organizational skillsMust be able to work productively with minimal supervision and a key team member within the finance organizationAbility to communicate within all departments and management levelsPrevious experience with QuickBooks in Accounts Receivable requiredProficiency in Excel, Word and OutlookWork Conditions: Office and warehouse environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise, hazards or adverse environmental issues, including exposure to heat, cold, inclement weather conditions.Future Energy Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
