Description
SAIC is looking for an Accounts Payable Processor to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN. The AP Processor is responsible for auditing and processing vendor invoices received through workflow and paperless queues. These items are to be processed timely and accurately in conjunction with SAIC policy. In addition, the AP Processor is responsible for managing rework items, which may involve interfacing with employees and/or vendors to resolve issues. This role reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
***This position is 100% remote, candidates local to the Oak Ridge, TN area preferred***
Responsibilities:
Audit purchase order and non-purchase order invoices in a paperless workflow system
Ensure appropriate allocation information is provided
Audit for unallowable expenses
Audit to ensure compliance to SAIC policies and FAR regulations
Interface with employees and vendors to resolve issues related to vendor invoices.
Create and manage rework cases for problem invoices.
Audit for any open sales tax issues and resolve
Manage special handling requests by internal customers
Additional projects as assigned by management

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable or business-related experience
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively with co-workers in a work-from-home setting
Solid experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Desired Qualifications:
Exposure to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, DCAA or other regulatory policies
Experience with ERP and workflow approval systems, Costpoint preferred

Target salary range: $35,001 – $45,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
