Our company is searching for an experience and professional Accounts Payable Clerk. This person should be precise with very good attention to detail. The candidate should have the ability to analyze expense reports to assign payments to the proper cost centers, work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements with vendors within a specific industry.

Essential Functions:

Perform all aspects of the account payable functions by matching purchase orders to invoices and process invoices according to company policies and deadlines. Identify error or discrepancies and resolve before processing.
Prepare checks, including ACH transactions and web payments, and backup documentation
Process vendor credit applications
Reconcile vendor balance to vendor statements on a monthly basis. Research and resolve any outstanding balances with vendors.
Reconcile accounts payable aging to general ledger on a monthly basis

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:

Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma
Minimum Experience Required: two years of professional experience, preferably a similar position
Skills Requires: Very strong organizational skills. Problem solving, and multi-tasking skills are required. Friendly and professional demeanor.
Experience with SAGE 500 is a plus
