Job Description

We are looking for a skilled accounts payable clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and proceduresAccurately review, code, and process vendor invoicesReview and reconcile invoice discrepanciesAudit and process credit card billsProcess check requests and expense reports on a regular basisPerform data entry associated with accounts payableAddress and respond to vendor inquiriesSkillsProven working experience as accounts payable clerk (or accounts receivable clerk)Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figuresData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets especially with MS excelProficiency in MS Office Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPointCustomer service orientation and negotiation skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailHigh school diploma/GED equivalent required; associate’s degree preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 – $21.50 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
