We are looking to add an Accounts Payable Associate to join our FEDERAL practice in the DC area (may be remote).
Manage trade accounts with various vendors, make payments via ACH, EFT or wire as needed
Establish relationships with vendor AR contacts to work through any issues that may arise
Provide vendor trade account details to management, both scheduled and ad hoc
Download credit memos from websites of various vendors
Organize credit memos for team’s workflow on intranet site
Communicate with vendors to ensure credit memos and invoices are posted as needed
Process both vendor and customer credit memos using multiple systems
Communicate with vendors to obtain credit memos once approved items have been returned or when intangible items have been approved for credit.
Responsible for tracking equipment returned to vendor and reaching out to the vendor to ensure proper processing of credit.
Communicate with internal teams (sales, logistics, billing, etc.) to resolve outstanding issues
Responsible for weekly and ad hoc reports of RMAs (Return Material Authorization).
Review/research accounts payable issues (duplicate shipments, duplicate billing, etc.).
Responsible for emails in multiple individual & shared boxes
