We are looking for talented and kind individuals to join our all remote, global team!https://resonancehealth.org/homeJob Title: Accounting Specialist (Remote)Job Category: FinanceType: Full-Time or ContractSalary Range: Dependent on experienceReports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Purpose of the PositionTo support payroll management, general account reconciliation, and ensure all financial records and statements are in line with laws, regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Core Tasks & ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting / Payroll- Perform all functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.- Communicate with vendors, customers, and contractors to prepare invoices/timely payments.- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual closing statements and cost accounting reports. Resolve any discrepancies in records, statements, or documented transactions.- Reconcile company bank accounts, credit cards, and business expenses.- Maintain all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures, resolving any discrepancies and answering any employee or contractor inquiries.- Update employee information and documentation for payroll records.- Assist in preparation for company federal and state tax filings.Project Management- Support CFO in creating procedures to improve accounting systems and company policies.Qualifications / ExperienceRequired- 2+ years of experience in accounting (or related field)- Understanding of accounting GAAP and bookkeeping activities- Strong computer skills and proficiency in various accounting and other software, including Microsoft Office Suite- Proficiency with QuickBooks- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentialityPreferred- Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or non-profit field.This job description may be reasonably modified as necessary to meet the needs of the business.BenefitsFull-Time- Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, holidays, and flexible work from home schedule- Reimbursement for health insurance, dental insuranceInstructions: Please submit a resume and very brief cover letter in PDF format to the email provided through Indeed.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $40,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork from homeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:All position are fully-remote.
